Let us never forget that the blanket of freedom which so many of us take for granted from day to day was bought and paid for with the blood of our brothers and sisters such as these. On that fateful day, 25 June 1996, 19 men and women gave their lives so that we could continue to live in a world free of tyranny and oppression.
These are some of the flags that are on display at the Khobar Towers Memorial at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They each recall the individuals whose lives we remember every June for their courage and dedication to duty.
